Character Name: Tameem “T” Nasri
Sex: Male
Age: 32
Occupation: Police Sergeant
Canon or Original: Original
Allegiance: Good.
Physical Description: Tameem enjoys his height at a comfortable 5’10”, numbers in which he hit during high school and has been that tall since. Due to his interest in track (shot-put, discus, etc.), he began working out in high school and has continued to do so for the purpose of his job (and looks, but he doesn’t like to admit that). He is thus rather built in the arms and chest, a feature he is very proud of around his friends and loves to wear t-shirts that show them off. Having never really made a decision between facial hair or not, he floats between nothing and a mustache or small goatee. He keeps his brown hair short for ease and has the dark brown eyes of his mother.
Personality: Tameem has almost been marked as having two personalities due to his commitment to professionalism. At home or around friends, he is a loud and over bearingly friendly guy. He enjoys going out to bars, singing karaoke, dancing and simply whatever gets him in with a group of his friends. He is affectionate to those that get close with him; even his male friends comment on his hugging or patting on the back. He is most often seen smiling when off duty and his laugh is rather infamously loud. Everything changes when he puts on the uniform, however; his father instilled the ideas of professionalism a long time ago and T has since then been a very serious worker. He is extremely quiet among his co-workers, doesn’t touch any of them beyond handshakes and he only smiles from time to time. He does not tolerate law-breaking very well and is very often the ‘bad cop’ when he is paired with others. When arresting people, he is usually extremely quiet and tends to intimidate the first timers.
History: T grew up fairly poor in Gotham because his parents were immigrants from Lebanon. Due to what his father claims is “arab discrimination”, his parents never really got a good job enough to send their children anywhere special. They barely scrapped by for public school and his father often threatened to return to Lebanon, where his skills would be admired rather than scorned. Besides wearing thrift store clothes and meager Christmases, T grew up fairly normally. His school years were uneventful, besides the occasional track meet where he excelled in his field. By age 15, he knew he wanted to be a cop, a decision that actually disappointed his parents who wanted him to go into business.
Immediately Tameem excelled in the field of the police force. His strength was a prize among officers as he could easily take down other big guys and such was a necessity in Gotham. He met his current girlfriend when he was 28 and has been dating her since. However, when the Joker came to town, T had a hand in many of the events surrounding the chaos. He was an officer during the previous Commissioner’s funeral, he was a driver of a police car when attempting to escort Dent to prison and he was an evacuator of Gotham General. His car was flipped and hit a wall during the attempt to put Harvey Dent away and though he suffered minimally (and thankfully the same for his partner), it scared him into realizing he’s been wasting his time with his girlfriend, Amanda. As soon as the Joker was caught, he proposed to her and is delighted she said yes. The two are planning the wedding, though the date was set back due to his recent promotion to Sergeant – he only took it in hopes of paying the wedding with the extra money.
Other: T is conflicted about Batman. He previously supported him but the more he realized that Batman works outside the law (and now hearing he killed Dent), he can’t quite figure out how he feels about the bat. Also, his nickname came from high school, which he liked so much he has kept since.
Strengths: Brute strength, good shot with a gun, intimidating.
Weaknesses: Being personable at work, overprotective of his fiancée, needs coffee every morning, and he is extremely trusting of his co-workers.
Likes: Coffee, bars, dancing, going out, friends, laughing, jokes.
Dislikes: Thieves, scum, mobsters, anyone outside the law, snow.
Face Claim: Toby Kebbell.
Sidenote: The fiancée is available for playing, so her name is changeable.
