Character Name: Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley
Sex: Female
Age: 31
Occupation: Bio and Chemical Terrorist
Allegiance: Mother Earth
Physical Description: Due to her vegan diet, Pamela is slender with little extra weight. Her skin is pale as most with red hair are; her hair is long and often left down. She is of moderate height at about 5’7” and sports a pair of green eyes. She isn’t often seen smiling, since she does so in the company of her plants, but she seems genuine and kind when she does smile. She is surprisingly well groomed when one discovers her hermit-like tendencies, but it is mostly meant for show and not herself. She needs to keep up the appearances of a normal human life while quietly destroying it at night.
Personality: Pamela has never been shy about her opinions, especially concerning the environment and veganism. She realizes it wins over little friends, but she enjoys the isolation. She sees nothing wrong with being only friends with plants as humans are often selfish, destructive and oblivious. She sees the plant world as an abused mother, constantly giving to a world of humans that hardly notice and never give back. While she often recognizes she is human as well, she has separated herself from normal humans and sees herself as a ‘missing link’ between the two worlds. After concocting a poison that fit snuggly on her lips, Pam was forced to open her sexuality to the ‘other humans’; her success in killing a high CEO has boosted her confidence in her sexuality and looks, but only as a tool of manipulation. It is uncertain when she switched from a simple love of plants to an obsessive terrorist, but she has no regrets of her actions nor sees herself doing anything absolutely wrong, as long as it’s in the name of Mother Earth.
History: Pamela was born and raised in Seattle by two vegan parents, also active protestors of waste-dumping companies. She remembers she was often dragged across the country before school, joining her parents in protests from California to New York and enjoying every minute of it. Forced to enter school, she began seeing less and less of the two as they travelled. She was, then, raised by a nanny named Jenny who was an excellent gardener. She would bring over new plants weekly and let Pam help in planting them. She explained why plants needed light and water, bought her books of exotic species and turned the roof-top garden into a jungle get away. It didn’t take long for Pamela to gain interest in the subject and when the parents thought their daughter was old enough, they fired Jenny to let Pam be alone at home. She often segregated herself by pointing out how awful it was to eat meat and the other children, unwilling to hear her out, pushed her away. Pam became obsessed with the plants that didn’t tease her or kill harmless creatures; without Jenny, the plants were her only friends.
After graduating with a PhD in Botany from University College London, Pam returned to the United States for research. She wanted to work with companies to find eco friendly designs for plants, cars, houses, etc. She was determined to save the botany world through research. When her research was bought by companies and used for the wrong purposes, she decided it was time the environment fought back. She bought her time through continual research for various companies, using her connections to figure out just who was doing the worst and where. She became obsessed with finding a plant-based poison that could kill on contact – however, when she almost killed herself accidentally with such a formula, she decided it was best to take drastic measures.
Over the next few years, Pamela injected herself with various poisons in small dosages. Some would knock her out the entire day and others simply made her nauseous. After awhile, a small dosage meant nothing to her and she would bump it up. In this manner, she has grown nearly immune to many toxins and poisons she uses to attack. She has attacked three majors cities and five major companies successfully under the alias Poison Ivy and has now come to Gotham to seek revenge on the city’s favorite and environmental killing machine: Wayne Enterprises.
Bio-chemical weapons:
Angel’s Trumpet Lipstick: Filled with layers of scopolamine and atropine, found in Brugmansia. It is often fatal alone, but Pamela has strengthened the dosage to kill within two hours, if left undetected.
Caladium Chocolate: Sent as a gift, this infusion of plant and what looks to be simple chocolates can block the airwaves within the hour.
Phyotoxin / ricin pebbles: Small orbs that dissolve in water. Causes burning, convulsions and is most often fatal [used on a business man, found dead in his pool].
Datura and Daffodil Bombs: The former causes hallucinations and the later kills in large dosages.
Ivy Nails: When close to an enemy, Pam has been able to lace the tips of her fingernails with a concentrated Ivy. If the victims is successfully scratched, it can cause labored breathing and a possible coma.
Strengths: Chemistry, Botany, toxic immunities
Weaknesses: Fire, emotional attachment to plants, quick to anger
Likes: All forms of plants, the sun, greenhouses, veganism
Dislikes: Construction, toxic waste, arrogant CEO’s, extinction
Face Claim: Debra Messing
Sex: Female
Age: 31
Occupation: Bio and Chemical Terrorist
Allegiance: Mother Earth
