Ten years ago, Metropolis burned.
Millions died, together with the world’s greatest hero and his greatest nemesis. It was the single greatest disaster in living memory.
It was the final straw. The world denied its heroes. They were left to disappear into the shadows along with the criminals that they had fought. Those who would not go willingly were forced to go.
And the world went on without them. Most retired, went back to civilian life, had families. But some were not willing to fade away. They looked to the future, to the time when a new generation would rise to power.
Bruce Wayne and Slade Wilson were two of these, two men determined to impose their own stamp upon the coming future. The battle lines have been drawn. Their teams assembled. As before, Gotham City will be the scene of the war, a war to decide the course of history itself.
The genesis of a new order hangs in the balance.
DCU: Genesis is a new RPG, one that takes the DC universe and gives it a new twist, with some input from the themes of the X Men Evolution series. It allows people to reimagine old favourites as they might have been in this different world.
