Hi guys. 
Firstly, this is Gossamer, also known as Kam, one half of the administrative team here at Before the Dawn.
I'm writing this to you all because I hate it when an admin just doesn't communicate with anyone on the board about what's going on. I haven't written to you because I've been, frankly, annoyed as Hell, and didn't want to come across as bitchy to people I know were trying to make it work here. I've decided on the lesser of two evils, so while this isn't good news I thought I had better post to tell you all anyway.
This RPG will remain on the net for whoever would like to use it as a place to RP Batman stuff, but I will not continue to admin it and give it direction, approve applications, or anything else administratively. Bruce may still choose to do so, but I wouldn't expect her to because I know how much she has on her plate. I appreciate everyone's apparent enthusiasm when the idea of restarting BD was first brought to light, but I've been very disappointed with the level of activity since then. I think it's time to admit that nearly everyone who holds characters here doesn't really have enough time to dedicate to anything but a freeform RPG that will be there when you want to RP but one you can forget about when you feel like forgetting, which seems to be most of the time for most of our members. Given that, I will not put any more effort into this place, but the beautiful layout, the structure of the boards, and all else will remain for your use whenever you feel like playing here.
I appreciate all of the good times and hope that I get to RP with you all again here soon, but I'll be ducking out of the scene for a little while to lick my wounds. I especially appreciate the two new members who took a chance and joined a practically dead board in the hopes of seeing a little RP action; I'm sorry that it didn't become more alive than it did. I'm sure there was more I could have done, and for my shortcomings as an administrator I apologize.
