In the Adoption Center you can find a list of currently non-played characters who are related in some way to the approved characters played by other members of this board, which they have put up for Adoption for some other player to play. Adopted characters already have a large part of their history plotted out for them, and have the added benefit of character relationships already in place (family).

Putting a Character up for Adoption
If you have a character that you would like someone to consider adopting (a relation of a currently character, perhaps, or an NPC) please post the following form here and they will be added to this list. Please only list those details you are adamant should not be changed in the character.

Adopting a Character
So you've checked out the list and seen a character you wouldn't mind adopting, huh? Bravo! Check with the member who created the character first and then simply fill out the appropriate character bio form. Once we admins have consulted the person who put the character up for adoption we will approve your new character and move them to the appropriate approved bio board. Simple!

[Mario Falcone]

FALCONE MOBSTERS - requested by Kam

While I don't have any specific characters in mind for this, the Falcone family and friends are a broad group of people who support, manage, and participate in the family business: dirty money. I've gone ahead and listed any canons involved below but originals would totally rock, too. Mario needs a right hand man, henchmen, body guards, or even average business owners who do a little money laundering for the mob on the side to help make ends meet, dirty cops, or mob-friendly politicians. If you're strapped for a character idea, you can even just PM me (hopefully let me know in the CBOX that you did xP) and I'll happily do some brainstorming with you.

Known canon Falcone family members and mafia:

Carmine Falcone - father, middle aged, driven insane by Scarecrow and committed to Arkham Asylum

Louisa Falcone - mother, middle aged, location unknown

Sofia Carmine - sister, middle child, fiery temper and excellent marksman, compared to Sonny Corleone of The Godfather.

Alberto Carmine - brother, youngest child, physically weak but an excellent marksman, compared to Michael Corleone of The Godfather

Character Name: Your choice, but obviously last name is Gossamer
Gender: male
Age: middle-aged, 46+
Relationship: father
Other Info: Obviously, read up on Susie's bio for an idea, but basically her dad was a very strict father who lost his wife to dementia when his daughter was still young and so had to raise his daughter on his own. Susie is not entirely aware of the circumstances surrounding her mother's descent into insanity, but her father strongly suspects that there are dastardly circumstances surrounding it but his own personal investigation has lead no where and it took a necessary back seat to raising his daughter as a single dad.

This history makes him very close to Susie, but being a guy's guy he's also still pretty hard on her. They're both cops and both detectives but she works in homicide and he works in organized crime. Recently, though, they planned a sting together (with the help of Batman, unknown to him) and took out a major mob drug deal at the Gotham docks. Since then Susie took on a job outside of the precinct for Bruce Wayne, who she had been seeing, which ended up in disaster when security was somehow breached and the rookie whose training she was overseeing was killed. Susie was suspended and I've written that her father gave her a stern talking to and warned her to stay away from Bruce Wayne, who he doesn't think is good enough for her anyway, but being as she is just as stubborn as her father Susie plans to disregard his advice. He suspects that his daughter is being targeted because of the drug bust they planned together.

Author's Note: I would love it if someone was interested in picking him up, but he's not a necessary playmaker so I don't want anyone to pick him up because they think I want him played. If, though, he inspires you and you don't mind playing with me a lot, then go for it.

Character Name: Commissioner James Gordon
Gender: male
Age: mid-thirties
Relationship: James Gordon is the only cop in town who knows that Batman didn't kill Harvey Dent and that he wasn't responsible for the rampage Dent went on around town before falling to his death. But, he's not allowed to say so. Instead, he must keep his lie intact, at least until the charges against the mob have been upheld. As commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department and Batman's primary contact within the city infrastructure, Gordon plays an instrumental role in the protection of Gotham both through the police and through his interactions with Batman. He requires an accomplished and dedicated player who has time for plot threads as well as posting with any police characters who may need him.
